Raspberry Vinegar Spritzer with Fresh Mint
Recipe adapted from Blossom Vinegars

In colonial times, fresh fruit was preserved in vinegar and sugar to be reconstituted at a later time. Often it was used to create a "shrub" -- a zesty beverage that was well known as great summer thirst quenchers for centuries to follow. You will be both pleased and surprised by the refreshing taste of berries and fresh mint in this thirst-quenching twist on a historical cooler!

Ingredients:
1-2 TBSP Blossom Vinegar's Raspberry Vinegar
Sparkling Soda
Ice
6-8 mint leaves

Directions:

  1. Crush the mint leaves to release oils and place in tall glass.
  2. Fill glass with ice and pour club soda over it.
  3. Add 1-2 tablespoons of Blossom Vinegar's Raspberry Vinegar to the club soda. Stir.
  4. Allow it to sit for approximately 60 seconds (to allow the vinegar aroma to dissipate).
