As Executive Director, I will oversee operations and fundraising activity, and work with our Board of Directors to develop long-term goals for the market. I come to this position with 25 years of professional experience in nonprofit and for profit organizations, as well as six years in public service as a Diplomat and Special Agent for the U.S. State Department. Prior to joining Portland Farmers Market, I also served as adjunct faculty at Marylhurst University, was the Director of Development for Trappist Abbey and the Director of Marketing at Mary’s Woods. I honed my business skills during a 14-year tenure at IBM where I advised CEOs and senior executives of national grocery retail, healthcare and finance companies on strategic business process transformation and reengineering. |
