Matthew Choi Farmers Market Grant application is n Matthew Choi Farmers Market Grant application is now open - LINK IN BIO!

In loving memory of Matthew Choi, Choi's Kimchi and Portland Farmers Market are offering grants up to $1,500 to support new food and farm businesses looking to launch or expand at any Portland area farmers market.

The Matthew Choi Farmers Market Vendor Grant aims to reduce financial barriers for new farmers market vendors, particularly businesses led by owners from underrepresented communities at farmers markets and those with a cultural connection to the products they produce.

Awarded funds may cover expenses directly related to selling at a farmers market, such as equipment for market set up & display, stall fees, vehicle rental expenses and more.

✨VENDOR SPOTLIGHT ✨ Squirrel & Crow is a small ✨VENDOR SPOTLIGHT ✨ Squirrel & Crow is a small scale craft food manufacturer specializing in unconventional tempeh varieties with a focus on regional beans, local collaborations, and inspirational meal ideas.

Started in 2015 as a fermentation project, owner Jon and the team at @eattempeh make tempeh for grocery stores, restaurants, universities, food carts, and for farmers market shoppers. And, get this - their bean hulls (waste from processing) are used by a local mushroom grower as a base for their mushroom blocks!
Come say hello tomorrow and see their newest marinated tempeh (exclusively sold at the farmers market)!
