Tuesday at 2pm! Portland Farmers Market and Cook First PDX present: Fixin’ to Cook Winter Vegetables, a free cooking demonstration series highlighting seasonal produce, root to leaf. Each demonstration includes recipes, techniques, and resources to make it easier to get more vegetables on the table.

New to the kitchen or a seasoned home cook, this series is for all curious eaters.
First up: Brussels sprouts!
Sautéed, roasted, and in a salad: join us live to explore Brussels sprouts.

This series is part of the PDX Fix-It Fair, connecting Portlanders with experts–and each other–to learn simple, low- or no-cost ways to save money and be healthy all year long. Find resources, attend workshops, share your skills, and much more.

Join us the following Tuesdays at 2 pm: Jan 12 and 26, Feb 9 and 23, Mar 2 and 16.

We’ll host a live Q&A during each demonstration and share information about the @farmersmarketfund Double Up Food Bucks program, which provides matching SNAP dollars at many Oregon farmers markets.

Register at the link in our bio. We'll also be on the FixItFair Facebook live: www.facebook.com/FixItFairPDX

Have questions you want to be answered during the live? Email them to fixitfair@portlandoregon.gov and we'll make sure they're covered! Please also contact Fix-It Fair for translation or interpretation, or for accommodations for people with disabilities.
