SNAP Matching

Double Up Food Bucks Oregon is a program of our companion charitable organization Farmers Market Fund that provides SNAP shoppers with a dollar-for-dollar match to buy additional fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, beans, herbs, and vegetable starts at farmers markets.

How Double Up Food Bucks program works at our farmers markets:

  • Visit the market information booth (look for the yellow canopy!)
  • Swipe your EBT card for tokens to be redeemed for SNAP-eligible foods.
  • For every $1 taken out of your SNAP account, a matching $1 in Double Up Food Bucks is provided (up to$20 match each visit, depending on the farmers market) to purchase fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, beans, herbs, and vegetable starts from local farmers and producers.
