Fall is a great time for fermentation and what better place for hands-on learning than the farmers market?
Portland Farmers Market and Lucky Larder are partnering up to offer two fermentation classes at King Farmers Market on Oct. 16 – a kimchi workshop for adults only and a sauekraut workshop for families.
Both classes will include the basic processes involved in vegetable fermentation, equipment choices, health benefits and reliable resources beyond this workshop. All participants will take home their own quart jar.
All supplies and ingredients will be provided.

Sauerkraut Workshop – Family friendly!
Cost: $15 per adult, kids are welcome to join the class for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
