Some new faces will be at Portland Farmers Market at Portland State University when it hosts four small businesses from Chungju-Si, South Korea, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 8:30 am – 2 pm.
The visiting business owners will have a dedicated booth at the market where they will be joined by directors from the cultural city center of Chungju Jungwon Cultural Foundation and members of a South Korean broadcasting company. Shoppers will have the opportunity to meet these international entrepreneurs, learn about their products, services and missions, and sample their wares. Additionally, Portland Farmers Market vendors will be able to exchange information and discuss the benefits and challenges of owning a small business in South Korea and the United States.
