Farmers Market Gift Guide, 2023 Winter Edition

It’s here – the only holiday gift guide you need. The Portland Farmers Market 2023 holiday gift guide!

Last Saturday at the PSU Farmers Market, we spoke to as many market vendors as possible to seek out excellent holiday gift ideas and find special deals that were being offered.

Here’s what we came up with:

Those vendors with one asterisk ( * ) will only be at December 16th market and those with two asterisks ( ** ) will only be at the December 23rd market.

*Springbank Farm: Their blueberry wine contains 1-1/2 pounds of fresh blueberries in every bottle. It’s delightful chilled or mulled. Ask about their special holiday pricing for multiple bottles.
Stone Barn Brandyworks – Brandy, liqueur, whiskey, and rye.
- Check out their two unique seasonal liqueurs: Haskap and Nocino Green Walnut. We talked to a couple of shoppers who recommended the Nocino Green Walnut liqueur for manhattans.

Spicy Hot Stuff, Pickles & Fermented Goods

Herbucha: Seasonal handcrafted fermented kombucha
Hot Mama Salsa: Hot sauces & chili oil. Be sure to get a bag of their delicious tortilla chips to accompany the gift!
La Porteña: Small batch Argentine chimichurri.
Sibeiho: Handcrafted Singaporean sambal chili sauce.

The Fermentista: Sauerkraut and fermented seasonal vegetables.
