Great Pumpkin Events – Oct 28 & 29

Portland Farmers Market invites everyone to its annual Great Pumpkin Events on Saturday, October 28 at  Portland State University, and Sunday, October 29 at the King Market

These Halloween harvest celebrations will be filled with fun for shoppers of all ages! Come join the fun – rain or shine! Here are the details:

The Great Pumpkin Event at PSU – Saturday, Oct. 28, 9 to 1

Take part in a Pumpkin Carving Contest for kids and adults from 9 am to noon (or while supplies last), with prizes provided by the Market! Winners will be announced at 1:00 from the market music stage. Winners must be present to win.

The Children’s Costume Parade starts at noon at the Information Booth and winds around the north block of the market. All costumed kiddos receive a goody bag for dressing up!

Music at the Main Stage will feature Eric John Kaiser. And Dave’s Killer Bread will be at the Market, handing out samples of their delicious loaves!

The Great Pumpkin Event at King Market – Sunday, Oct. 29, 10 to 2

Pumpkin carving begins at 10 am for kids and adults. Pumpkins are free of charge. Games and goody bags for children.

Costumes are highly encouraged! Market music provided by AABA.

Pumpkins for the contest are generously donated by Packer Orchards.
