What’s in Season: Early Fall
Autumn is officially here, and with that comes the seasonal bounty of the Northwest. An amazing variety of apples and pears for pie-making and preserving, hearty vegetables for soups and stews, squash and potatoes for casseroles, and so much more! For some recipe inspiration, be sure to pick up a copy of the Portland Farmers Market Cookbook featuring recipes for each season from local chefs and farmers!
Fall Market Schedule:
Wednesdays: Shemanski Park Farmers Market – Downtown Portland, 10 am to 2 pm – through October 25
Saturdays: Portland State University Market – Downtown Portland, 8:30 am to 2 pm (thru October), then 9 am to 2 pm – year round
Sundays: Lents International Farmers Market, Southeast Portland, 9 am to 2 pm – through Oct 29
Sundays: King Farmers Market – Northeast Portland, 10 am to 2 pm – through Nov 19
