🌴Experience the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean w 🌴Experience the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean with La Hispaniola this Saturday!🌴

We are excited to welcome this new pastry vendor to PSU Farmers Market this season. La Hispaniola was created by Ernesto, a Dominican baker, with a big dream: to share the flavors and soul of the Caribbean. Through their traditional Dominican finger foods, they show how they truly enjoy food—bold, unique, and full of flavor.

Everything Ernesto prepares is infused with the authentic flavors and traditions of his home country. Many of the recipes are inspired by his grandmother, from whom he learned to cook using her traditional recipe book:
❤Pastelitos: round empanadas filled with beef, chicken, ham & cheese, pizza pepperoni, or spinach & ricotta
❤️Kipe: bulgur croquettes filled with shredded beef & spices
🥔Potato balls filled with shredded beef
❤️Yuca croquette filled with mozzarella and cheddar cheese
Guava cream cheese pastry (PFM staff favorite!)
🌽Sweet corn bread

You can find La Hispaniola at the PSU Farmers Market in our hot food row this Saturday and every other Saturday. Stop by their booth to say hello and treat yourself to their delicious pastries.

As Ernesto says, "Every bite is meant to take you on a little trip to our beautiful Caribbean island and provide a fun, unforgettable taste experience."

After all, don't you deserve a little getaway?

💕Welcome, Love Crumble, to Shemanski Park Farmers 💕Welcome, Love Crumble, to Shemanski Park Farmers Market!💕

Love Crumble is a WOC-owned local dessert and specialty drink brand inspired by a rainy-day discovery of a specific British sweet treat in London. Their mission is to create warm, joy-filled moments through simple, heartfelt desserts and drinks.

Love Crumble offers amazing beverages that blend elements from British crumble and Korean coffee culture. Love Crumble's team (pictured above) creates delectable made-to-order crumble drinks with matcha tea, hojicha tea, or coffee, with a generous amount of strawberry puree, then topped with a rich custard cream and cookie crumble.

Additionally, they offer vegan and caffeine-free options for those who prefer them! Swipe to see the current menu!

Inspired by her Korean childhood, owner Seungho plans to introduce seasonal flavors and nostalgic ingredients, such as injeolmi and mugwort, into their drinks. By combining these influences, Love Crumble honors its cultural heritage while introducing shoppers to new, meaningful flavor experiences.

Love Crumble carefully sources its ingredients from local partners, including:
🥛Dairy for their custard creme is from Schoch Dairy & Creamery in Helvetia🥛
☕Coffee from a local roaster, Neem Coffee Project.☕

Find them every Wednesday at Shemanski Farmers Market. Stop by their booth to say hello to this sweet new vendor and sample their deliciously unique specialty beverages.

Enjoy a little love in every crumble!
