Join us for a delightful day at the market featuring over a dozen regional farmers and local food makers. Then enjoy a variety of fun activities we have planned: 🍅Recipe tasting at 11 am with local chef Depeek Saxena of DesiPDX. 🍅Sample local tomatoes grown by our farmers 🍅Spin our wheel for a chance to win prizes! 🍅Kids: help us make salsa on our blender bike and receive $4 to spend with the market farmers. 🍅Listen to live music starting at 1 pm with Dumpster Joe. In light of tomorrow's forecasted high temperatures and poor air quality, we have implemented measures to help reduce exposure while keeping the Kenton Farmers Market open 3 pm to 7 pm. To minimize heat exposure, all vendors will be located on the shadier side of the market on North McClellan. Additionally, we will have cooling stations available and KN95 masks on hand to help everyone feel safe and comfortable. We encourage you to come out, if possible, and support the hardworking local farmers and food producers who rely on the market for their livelihoods. As of now, we're excited to share that we have almost two dozen local farm and food producers scheduled to be there!
