We're making this adjustment to close Shemanski Park Farmers Market an hour earlier to ensure the safety of our shoppers, vendors, and staff.

We encourage you to come out and support our hardworking local farmers and food producers who rely on the market for their livelihood. To help you feel comfortable, we'll have cooling stations and KN95 masks available.

As of now, we're excited to share that we have almost two dozen local farm and food producers scheduled to be there!

Thank you for your understanding as we work to balance serving our community with protecting everyone's health at the market. Your support means a lot to our vendors and us.

We'll post updates if anything changes.

In the meantime, take care and stay hydrated!

This free workshop will be held via Zoom, allowing you to join from wherever you are!

Led by Sagdrina Brown Jalal of Atlanta Leadership Consulting & founder of The SageD Collective, this workshop centers vendors as culture carriers, storytellers, and relationship-builders at farmers markets.

Participants will explore how sharing food traditions with care, avoiding cultural appropriation, and creating welcoming booth environments can deepen customer trust, strengthen community connections, and support long-term sales.

The session emphasizes practical tools vendors can immediately use to support inclusive customer service—both personally and through their booth staff.

⭐️All farmers market vendors who attend the workshop
live on Thurs, Aug 27 will be entered to win a $40 Visa gift card.⭐️

Welcome Peachwood Orchard to PSU Farmers Market th Welcome Peachwood Orchard to PSU Farmers Market this Saturday!

Peachwood Orchard is a small, BIPOC-owned and operated farm spanning 2.5 acres in Hood River, Oregon. The farm cultivates over 20 varieties of peaches and nectarines, including some rare types. Owners Alma and Dave have been using organic farming practices since 2016 and obtained their organic certification in 2019.

All of their fruit is tree-ripened and hand-picked to ensure maximum flavor and nutrition. They also craft preserves and fruit leather, reflecting the same care and attention that goes into every harvest.

Peachwood Orchard is dedicated to producing high-quality fruit while being responsible stewards of the land. They prioritize paid apprenticeship opportunities to train the next generation of farmers and advocates for a sustainable food system.

You can find Peachwood Orchard at PSU Farmers Market every Saturday until the end of the peach season.

Be sure to stop by their booth, located across from Taste of Old Poland, to say hello to their friendly staff and buy their delicious, perfectly ripened peaches and preserves!
