Welcome Silly Goose Farm to PSU Farmers Market! W Welcome Silly Goose Farm to PSU Farmers Market! We are thrilled to add this special farm to our vendor lineup this season, made possible through our partnership with the Headwaters Farm Incubator Program. This program, part of the East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District, provides affordable access to land, equipment, and technical support for motivated and experienced farmers and farm businesses. Silly Goose Farm, owned & operated by PFM alum David, offers a diverse selection of heirloom dried beans and vegetables, including some Slovakian varieties (a nod to David's heritage). As a first-generation farmer with 10+ years of experience, David is passionate about promoting soil & plant health while nourishing the community. All their produce is grown at the Headwaters Farm, located on 60 acres outside of Gresham. Love their veggies and dried beans? They have a limited number of CSA shares available. Silly Goose is scheduled to be at the market weekly throughout the season. Please stop by their booth and see what they have to offer! We are thrilled to welcome another new hot food vendor to the market this season, Cool Skewers! They serve made-to-order fried marinated meat and vegetable skewers, a popular and flavorful type of kebab commonly served by street food vendors throughout China. There is a variety of protein options to choose from for their skewers, including beef, chicken, lamb, pork, prawn, fish tofu, and cuttlefish. A few of these savory skewers, paired with one of their refreshing iced lemon teas muddled with fresh fruit, make a great meal!
