Explore the unique flavors & traditions of Stone C Explore the unique flavors & traditions of Stone Circle Cider at PSU Farmers Market this Saturday!
In 2015, brothers-in-law Dan and John founded their cidery with a dream of bringing authentic English-style cider to Oregon. John grew up in the West Country in Southwest England, a place steeped in thousands of years of folklore, mystery, tradition, and cider. This region is known as the largest and most famous cider-producing area in the world, where Dan completed an apprenticeship, learning from some of the best cidermakers whose families have been crafting cider for generations.
Stone Circle crafts and slow-ferments cider on their farm in Estacada, where they are working to transition the land into a cider apple orchard.
They offer a wide array of aromatic, smooth-tasting farmhouse ciders:
🍎Dry: Their signature cider is made in a true dry "scrumpy" style from a blend of 12 cider apple varieties.
🍏Semi-Dry
🍎Sweet
🍏Raspberry
🍐Seasonal: Small-batch with flavors like lavender-tarragon and apricot-cardamom.
Stone Circle Cider is at the PSU Farmers Market on the 3rd Saturday of every month through the season. Stop by their booth this Saturday and taste your new favorite English-style cider!

Meet Little Benji's Family Farm at Shemanski Park Meet Little Benji's Family Farm at Shemanski Park Farmer Market this Wednesday!

Founded earlier this year, this small farm grows seasonal fruits and vegetables using organic values and practices on 4 acres in Aumsville, located about an hour south of Portland.

Little Benji's Family Farm is owned and operated by a family with agricultural roots in the area, and it is named after the youngest of the family's four siblings. The family is working together to create memories while bringing some fresh local produce to the community around them.

They are particularly excited about growing radishes, celery, corn, and melons (their signature crop). They also offer a wide array of familiar herbs like dill, cilantro, thyme, oregano, mint, and purslane, as well as lesser-known herbs native to Mexico and Central America.

Be sure to visit their booth at Shemanski every Wednesday through the season to shop for leafy greens, beans, cucumbers, zucchinis, carrots, and tomatoes and support a new farm business!

Don’t forget to ask Farmer Jocelyn for tips on using purslane, hoja santa, and papalo in your recipes and dishes!
