Meet Neiffer Ranch this Saturday at PSU Farmers Ma Meet Neiffer Ranch this Saturday at PSU Farmers Market! Spanning three generations, Neiffer Ranch is a family-owned and operated farm located in Eastern Oregon. They offer a variety of sustainable meat products, including 100% grass-fed beef, pasture-raised pork, and free-range chicken and eggs, along with all cuts and organ meats. Pronounced "Knife-er," Neiffer Ranch employs pasture-based, rotational grazing practices to prioritize animal health, soil function, and nutrient cycling. They utilize on-farm composting and land application as part of their management approach. With a focus on transparency and hands-on stewardship, Neiffer Ranch emphasizes practical, adaptable, and scalable practices that are suitable for small farms. In addition to being a working ranch, Neiffer Ranch features: ✅An Oregon Department of Agriculture-licensed poultry processing facility, where all processing byproducts are composted on-site, returning valuable nutrients to the land. ✅A nonprofit education program centered on composting, waste systems, and watersheds.
