Cool Skewers brings iconic Chinese street food to Kenton Farmers Market weekly!

We are thrilled to welcome another new hot food vendor to the market this season, Cool Skewers! They serve made-to-order fried marinated meat and vegetable skewers, a popular and flavorful type of kebab commonly served by street food vendors throughout China.

There is a variety of protein options to choose from for their skewers, including beef, chicken, lamb, pork, prawn, fish tofu, and cuttlefish. A few of these savory skewers, paired with one of their refreshing iced lemon teas muddled with fresh fruit, make a great meal!

As part of our Chef in the Market series this season, we are delighted to welcome back Chef Deepak for a recipe demo, highlighting the freshest seasonal produce sourced directly from local vendors. (Swipe to see his appearance last year!)

Everyone is invited to stop by the Chef's booth to see his culinary expertise and learn about the local ingredients he uses. You can also sample the recipe and ask questions!

About the Chef:
Deepak Saxena is a tech industry escapee who decided to follow his passion for cooking in 2015 and open the award-winning DesiPDX food cart serving "Local Fare with Indian Flair" - highlighting the best of NW ingredients and using Indian spices and techniques to create new dishes.

Welcome Clark Family Farm to King Farmers Market!
Clark Family Farm is a small, family-run farm in La Center, Washington. They specialize in goat's milk body products (such as lotion, body wash & face cream), with a focus on the care and well-being of all their working and rescue animals who live on the farm.
All the milk used in their products comes directly from their happy goats, raised and loved on their farm.
In each jar and bottle, you'll find simple, all-natural ingredients that are good for your skin and the earth. Their products have helped customers who have struggled with a range of skin issues, including acne, rosacea, eczema, and dermatitis. They are proud to share the gift of happy, healthy skin.
Clark Family Farm will be at King Farmers Market this Sunday and monthly throughout the season. They will also be popping up at the PSU Farmers Market on occasion.🐐
