In addition to over 120 farmers and food makers, we are proud to host Dave's Killer Bread for a special celebration: Toasting 20 Years since the very first loaves were sold at the market!

The hometown favorite will make a special appearance, serving up samples of DKB topped with fresh market ingredients, as well as its newest products, including snack bars and crunchy snack bites!

There will be a photo booth, coloring sheets for kids, and killer swag! Enter for a chance to win a year's supply of DKB!

Please stop by Chef's booth around 11 am to see what Chef David is creating, learn about the local ingredients he's using, and sample his delicious recipe! Samples usually run out quickly, so plan accordingly!

This new market vendor is a husband-and-wife team growing oysters in Florence, Oregon, in the cool Pacific waters.

They deliver fresh oysters directly from farm to market, usually within 4 to 24 hours of harvest.

Their premium-quality single-grown petite oysters are delicious either raw or grilled on the half-shell.

Curious about how to shuck an oyster? The team is more than happy to teach you! It's a fun and educational experience that will deepen your appreciation for these briny delicacies.

This team has a great respect for the ecosystem in which their oysters grow and for the marine organisms that inhabit it. They commonly find crabs, fish, shrimp, octopuses, mussels, barnacles, and algae all chilling in the comfort of the cozy environment provided by the oysters and their shells. They do have to remove some of the barnacles and mussels (by hand), or they'd take over everything, but other than that, all are welcome. This natural environment, along with the beneficial effect of the oysters filtering the water to obtain their algae food, provides a pristine and natural environment rarely matched by other types of aquaculture or by land farming.

They never add any chemicals or feeds to their oyster beds. Their trays and raised beds are approximately 24 inches above the sand, leaving the bottom sediment undisturbed and allowing water to circulate freely. Additionally, they minimize their use of plastic; their structures and trays are primarily made from recyclable metal and Oregon-grown wood.

Rangoon Bistro was a vendor at the King Farmers Market from 2020 to 2022, and we're thrilled to have this market alum back for a special appearance - especially, days before they open their sister operation, Bone Sine!

Welcome Sunao Peruvian Coffee & Chocolates to Kenton and Lents International Farmers Markets!

Sunao is owned and operated by a woman who was born and raised in Peru. Their mission is to create a direct connection between Peruvian producers of biodynamic coffee and cacao with consumers, while celebrating their country's rich culture and flavors and offering fresh, sustainable, and high-quality products.

Sunao offers a selection of fair-trade, single-origin coffee beans that are locally roasted in Portland to guarantee freshness. Each type of coffee has distinct flavor notes, which can range from juicy and fruity to nutty and dark chocolate. These flavors depend on the variety of the bean, the specific region in Peru where it was grown, the processing method used, and the roasting level.

Their delicious chocolates are crafted using cacao that is freshly harvested each month from the Amazon region of Peru, ensuring exceptional quality and authenticity.

Sunao will be at the Kenton Farmers Market on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month throughout the season. They will also be at the Lents International Farmers Market on the 2nd Sunday of each month.

Be sure to visit their booth this Wednesday & Sunday to learn about their special coffees and chocolates and support this local small woman-owned business!
