As part of our Chef in the Market series, we are excited to welcome Rangoon Bistro, for a recipe demonstration featuring the freshest seasonal produce sourced directly from our King vendors.

Rangoon Bistro was a vendor at the King Farmers Market from 2020 to 2022, and we're thrilled to have this market alum back for a special appearance.

Swipe thru the pics to see the guys at the market back in the day.

Please stop by Chef's booth around 11 am to see what they are creating, learn about the local ingredients he's using, and sample his delicious recipe! Samples usually run out quickly, so plan accordingly!

Don't forget to follow Rangoon Bistro @rangoonbistro and their new bar, Bone Sine @bonesinerangoon on Instagram for more tasty updates!

About Rangoon Bistro:
Rangoon Bistro is a counter-service Burmese restaurant established in 2022 by chefs David Sai and Alex Saw—veterans of acclaimed kitchens across Southeast Asia—and Portland native Nick Sherbo. A true Portland success story, the restaurant was born from a beloved farmers market pop-up and now counts two brick-and-mortar locations. Rangoon Bistro’s menu marries time-honored Burmese recipes with the Pacific Northwest’s finest local ingredients. Through each dish, Rangoon Bistro continues its mission: using food to honor heritage while inviting diners to explore Burmese culture and cuisine.
